Brief: This was one of our very first projects and after all these years, we still love the end result. The original galley kitchen in this two-bed, mid-terraced house was too small for the owners (see images below). With no space for a washing machine or a standard size dining table, they needed more space. We extended five metres on the ground floor to create a large, open-plan kitchen and dining area. This allowed for a large kitchen island, a downstairs cloakroom and concealed storage for a washing machine and tumble dryer. With an exposed brick wall and bi-fold doors, the result was a modern, spacious and bright extension.

This project was achieved with permitted development rights.
